Petites Permissions (à La Défense)1999 - 2003, 8 Lamda-Prints auf Dibond, je 90 x 135 cm In Paris fotografierte ich die signifikanten Gebäude des modernen Stadtteils 'La Défense', z.B. die 'Grande Arche de la Fraternité'. In Museen und aus Büchern recherchiere und zeichne ich regelmäßig rituelle Skulpturen, sowie steinzeitliche Figuren aus verschiedenen Weltgegenden. In den Computer-Arbeiten verbinde ich diese unterschiedlichen, aber ebenbürtig stilisierten und weltanschaulich aufgeladene Ästhetiken.
Small Permissions (at 'La Défense', Paris)1999 - 2003, 8 lamda-prints, mounted on dibond, each 90 x 135 cm In Paris, I took photographs of the significant buildings in the modern district “La défense”, e.g. the “Grande Arche de la Fraternité”. In museums and books I look for ritual sculptures and prehistoric images from different parts of the world, which I draw. In my digital work I combine these different, but equally stylized and ideologically charged aesthetics.
