Migration Flags2005 - 2007, series of 26 digital images, color prints, mounted on alu dibond, each 50 cm high and 67 to 75 cm wide. Each ‘Migration Flag’ mixes two national flags, or one flag with a subject that shows one international relation of this country (economical, political, cultural, migration, tourism) - the symbols interpenetrate and interact. Migration Flags2005 - 2007, Serie aus 26 digitalen Bildern, C-Prints auf Dibond, je 50 cm hoch und 67-75 cm breit. Diese Serie digitaler Bilder zeigt Transformationen und Durchdringungen von jeweils 2 Flaggen, oder von einer Flagge mit einem Motiv, das eine internationale Beziehung (z.B. Wirtschaft, Migration, Politik, Tourismus, kulturelle Beeinflussung) thematisiert - die Symbole interagieren. Parallel zur Animationen-Serie ‘Flaggen-Metamorphosen’ entwickle ich diesen Bilder-Zyklus. Meine Recherchen und Flash-Animationen sind die Grundlagen dieser Bilder.
